How to Figure Out What You Need to Be the Best Version of Yourself

Happy Valentine’s and Galentine’s Day!

 

Whether you’re single or coupled, like or dislike this holiday, I think Valentine’s Day gives us the opportunity to take a step back and consider how we can show love to the people we care about AND ourselves.

 

In last week’s blog, I chatted about why self-love is so important and so impactful on our lives and relationships.

But how do you go about figuring out what you need?

 

Start with figuring out what you need to feel amazing and be the best version of you: happy, well-rested, energetic.

 

Start a list. Make note of everything that

  • brings you joy and happiness

  • gives you energy

  • makes you feel well-rested and calm

 

Pay attention to your sleep patterns, activities, surroundings, and the people you are with.

 

Bonus points for noting the type of positive emotion and feelings you have during that time!

 

Once you have this list rolling, you will begin to see the things you need as part of your daily/weekly routine to be your best self!
