How to Deal with Life’s Curveballs

This lil dude is getting a doggo nutritionist and has been eating organic, home cooked food since April

And me? I've been existing on coffee, protein shakes, and deliveries and making it to the gym MAYBE three days a week with a couple of multiple week hiatuses after he had surgery and when he was getting sick quite a bit

The old me who was in the gym 6 days a week and meal prepped every Sunday would be losing my mind and completely obsessed about losing muscle and gaining weight

Current me?

  • Weight is the same. I've lost some strength/cardio conditioning, but I really don't care. It will come back

  • Focusing on what's in my control

  • Spending more time exercising outside with the pup

  • Trying to keep my always present anxiety down with all of the above + getting enough sleep

  • Saying no without guilt

Life may not be going according to my schedule right now, but I've learned that that's usually the case. Things come up, and we have to learn how to readjust, refocus, and problem solve to deal with whatever life is throwing at us.
