Why You Aren’t Making Progress on Your Goals

scrabble tile letters spelling "you can do it" on a pink background

So you have this goal that you say is really important to you, BUT

  • you can’t seem to make time to work on it OR

  • you set aside time but find yourself using that time for other things

What gives?

You are scared. Yep, I said it. You are scared of failure, success, making a mistake or a combination of all of these. This is SO common. New things are scary. The good news? The more you learn about your goal and how to crush it, it becomes less scary.

You are overwhelmed with information. The internet is great. So much information right at our fingertips, however it can be really overwhelming to search through resources. Use reputable sources. Who are the experts in the field? Is the information backed by research, studies, etc?

You aren’t willing to make a change. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy. If you are feeling like you cannot change anything in your life to accomplish your goal, take a step back. Become a problem solver or enlist a great problem solver to help you come up with some ideas, and then try one
