How to Deal when You are Dreading your Days

How do you feel when you wake up in the AM? Excited and ready for your day or dreading it and dragging yourself out of bed?

How do you feel when you finish your work day? Are you drained and exhausted? Crashing on the couch?

If this is you, it's TIME to make a change!

I've been there before, and it's so freaking MISERABLE! You start to wonder if you are going to be stuck in this exhausting cycle forever.

But, guess what?

  • It doesn't have to be that way, and it shouldn't!

  • You don't have to live for the weekends

  • You don't have to dread Mondays

  • You can have a life that you love everyday of the week!

Let me level set with you…it’s probably not going to happen overnight, BUT there are some things you can do to get the ball rolling

  • Take a step back and look at what’s specifically causing the dread/exhaustion/misery and figure out if it’s something that’s in or out of your control.

  • Is there anything about your day that you can change, delegate, do differently, or just stop doing altogether?

  • Do you enjoy what you’re doing, but it’s the work environment or negativity that’s the problem?

  • Do a little daydream or journal a brain dump - what does your ideal day look like?

  • Take a look at all the things you are grateful for about your days. Consider if the good outweighs the bad

  • Pick one thing to change. Maybe it’s your mindset or approach, maybe it’s delegating one task. Start small and see how it makes you feel
