Find your Happy Place
Do you have a place or activity that truly brings you happiness, helps you clear your mind, and reset or feel refreshed?
My happiest place is the beach. I love everything about it: the feeling of sand between my toes, the smell of the salty air, the feeling of sunshine on my face, and the sound of the waves crashing
For me, it's so peaceful and yet also so energizing at the exact same time. However, I can't escape to the beach every time I'm feeling unbalanced or stressed (at least not yet!)
Depending on the scenario, one thing may not work for us every single time we are feeling stressed or overwhelmed or frustrated or stuck.
So where can you go or what can you do to clear your mind and get on a positive track?
Connect with nature
Chat with a loved one
Move your body. Bonus points for moving your body out in nature!
Do a brain dump or journal your thoughts
Get crafty
Meditate or breathing exercises
Take care of a pet
Plan a trip or something to look forward to
