Does Anyone Really Have it all Together?
Have you ever looked at someone and just thought - "damn, they really have their s*&t together. They are so confident and happy all the time. They must not have a problem in the world"
No. No. No. Truth is, we are all human
We all experience highs, lows, insecurities, problems, good days, bad days, and a wide range of emotions. And sometimes all the emotions in the same hour
None of us are constantly happy, confident, and worry free. May is Mental Health Awareness month, which means this is a great time to check in with ourselves.
Let's all make an effort to:
Be kind to each other. We don't know what others are dealing with
Be honest and open about our feelings. Everything is not "fine" or "great" all the time. Let's be real
Ask for help. It's ok. It shows strength
Normalize talking about going to therapy, our struggles, and our fears
Learn about the things someone with a mental health diagnosis truly experiences on the daily
Truly listen. Learn. Reflect
