Are you Surviving or Thriving?
Do any of us really have a year to spare?
It was March 14th 2020 when the covid shit got real for me. I planned to go out for St Patty's Day, but the news had me so freaked out that I could not move from my couch. (And anyone who knows me, knows that I rarely say no to a fun time)
It's been an entire year since then. An entire year of fear, anxiety, and the unknown. I think about the lost time, the lost travel, lost experiences, and the lost memories
But I also think about the things I did do this year:
the extra time I had to start a business
the friendships that actually became stronger
and how much appreciation and happiness I found in really simple things or time with loved ones
There's not a right answer for how to survive and thrive through a pandemic, and I think it looks different for all of us. So are you surviving or thriving? Which do you want to be doing?
Yes some things are out of our control, but there's also lots of choices that are in our control.
So, do any of us really have another year to of waiting around to spare? What are you going to choose? Can you choose differently?
I don't know about you, but I absolutely refuse to lose a minute just waiting around.
